Morning

Good morning everyone, hope all is well for ya.  I've been hanging in there with all the busy hustle and bustle of daily routine. Just wanted to check in and see how's things are going for everyone else.  The holidays are quickly approaching and I'm so ready for them to be here and gone.  Then maybe I can relax a little bit.
Happy Holidays everyone, wow has this year flew by or at least it has to me.  It's almost a new year again.  Well I guess I better get prepared.  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  I am ready for Christmas in a way, I have the tree up..  I have yet to start shopping but I'm off these next few weeks so I will have no excuse to not get it done.  I enjoy shopping and seeing the faces of the little ones.  I went to the mall the weekend and got ALOT of candle, they were on sale and I has plenty of coupons.  Ewww, I have been somewhat busy.  Well till next time my friends.
Hey friends, gooooood Wednesday evening, well its almost the weekend and I am so glad.  Let me tell ya, its been another long, exhausting, last few weeks.  I could write a mini script on all that's been going on.  But I wont complain (at least not too much)

Hey yall

Good morning y'all. It's been a long time. But hey "life" happens. I've been super busy over the last few months with kids going back to school, a few deaths in the fam, working overtime, handy work, more overtime...the list goes on and on. But I manage to get a few projects done and I'll post pic soon. It's just been very hectic.

DIY wall clock

Image
Hey friends, well  I decided I wanted to redecorate my living room and I wanted a nice huge clock to go on the wall.  Well I looked online and at other furniture and home decor stores and all the nice ones were $55 and up!!  Sheeesh, so you know how my mind works, I was like I can just make my own. So that exactly what I did.  I got the wood round and clock spindle and went to work.  Now I only had to buy the wood and spindle for a total of $30. The other supplies I already had.
Good afternoon friends, welcome, welcome.  It's been a little while since I been on here, lets just face it this thing called "LIFE" happened.  It has been a long few weeks.  And I have slacked off on some of my projects and crafts but I promise I will get right back into it soon.  I have been researching some new things and ideas an as soon as I get a bit more free time, I will get them up here.  Until then, have a great afternoon and week.

Finally feeling better

Hey friends, well it's been awhile but I'm feeling much better. I had surgery the other week and now I'm getting back to myself.  I was able to make a few cards and things while I was off so I thought I would share once I upload it.

Recovery

Hello friends, I haven't craft in awhile bc I had major surgery 2 days ago and I'm trying to heal and take it easy. I'm ok just really sore. But as soon as I feel better I'll be back posting stuff. I'm going to take some meds now and then back to sleep I go, so I'll take to you guys soon.
Hey friends, happy Sunday!!! Well he made it through another week.  My kids are back in school and I'm so glad.  Well this week I'll be putting together some "thank you" cards for friend.  She had an surprise birthday dinner for her parents and it turned out so nice.  Once I get the cards started and together I'll post some pictures. So until then, see ya later!!
Welcome back friends,  I hope everyone is having a great Sunday funday. The weather here is so nice again today but rain is expected all this week but that's okay.  Since the kidos are heading back to school tomorrow, I'd thought this year would be a great time to finish their "school days" scrapbook album.  Probably like every parent out there, I take the first day of school picture and last day of school, but sometimes I forget to print them.  So this year I am going to commit to taking the pics, finding the previous one that I've taken, and print them out.....AND go ahead and put them in my scrapbook.  I have one middle schooler and one high schooler. Well til tomorrow my friends.

Happy Saturday

Hey friends, what's up. Hope everyone e has a great day because where I'm at it feels good outside, sun shining, Ford some crafts completed and all. I seen my nephews  today and they are getting big.
Hey friends, good day.  Hope everyone enjoyed their day and had a productive day and an even more productive tomorrow. Today when I returned home from work, I made a card for a co worker who is going through a lot and taking care of her sick mother and cancer stricken daughter.  I had no idea that she was in so much pain and dealing with all of this but she was out of work for about a week and just came back yesterday and I just wanted to hug and cry when she told me the news, but I held it together and tried to stay strong for her but inside I wanted to cry like a baby.  My heart do out to her and may God give her the strength to handle and overcome these hurdles she is facing with her family.  I made her a simple "strength" card but I put it in the envelope before it took a picture of it.  My mind was all over the place today, so my bad.  Til next time. See ya latar!!!

School shopping

Hey friends, what a great Saturday!! Today we took kids back to school shopping and actually had a great time.  My teenage daughter knew what she wanted and her size and my son is easy going so he okay with whatever his dad picks so all in all it was a great shopping trip. And we got some great deals too.  Must needed family time. Oh and I had ordered some dies from Aliexpress and they came today, so yaaaaaah me. I'm super excited to use them.
Good day friends, how's it been going?  Well 2 days down and 3 to go for the week. I've been thinking of a few new projects that I'll share with ya coming soon.  So let's face it, its never not a time that I'm thinking of a new ideas to make and design.  I'm just so darn craft minded!!  My daughter also makes a lot of different crafts also and we know who she gets that from.  Well I'm I have to run to the store AGAIN this late but a mom's work is never done.  Till next time friends!! Hello friends, well we made it through another Monday!! Whoaaaaa!!!!  If your Monday's are typically like mines, then ya know what I mean.  Well, I have finally finished one project for my friends housewarming gift, her wreath.....And it turned out so pretty and so her style. And it didn't take long to make but with all my extra "hats" I wear, well you know. Check out the details below. So I didn't measure that length, I just eyeballed it and started out by laying the design side face down and criss crossing the burlap to make a bow shape.  Then again without measuring just eyeballing it I cut a small piece of burlap to make a smaller bow in front and folded each end to come together in the middle. Layed the smaller one on top of larger one. Scrunch the middle and tie with a pipe cleaner or wire.  Cut a smaller piece and cut in half long ways and hot glue the edges into the middle and wrap around middle part of bow to cover pipe cleaner, then hot glue the
Good evening friends, Hope everyone had a great day today!  I had my normal at work wrecking my brain and patience too much, it was a bit exhausting, but any whoot.  I want to make a new wreath for my front door, but not sure what theme to make.  I have a lot of handmade wreaths but I'm always wanting to make more and more.  I guess since the kids school starts back in a few weeks, I could make a "back to school" wreath of some sort.  What do you think? And what types of wreaths do you all like?

morning thoughts

Good morning friends, Today started off as normal, well at least normal for me.  I get up and ready to go to work (sighs) put in my 8 hours and hopefully they will not ask me to stay for overtime.  And after working and wrecking my brain all day, I can come home and "relax" and get my craft on.  I'm always thinking about what needs to done and what has to be done. I get a lot of request to help out decorating this or that and I do not mind at all because my friends and family know that I love to do it.  So now on the this glass of lemonade and off to my craft room.
Good afternoon friends, Today was a relaxing day, no work (yaaaahhh).  I actually had a doctors appointment earlier and so I took the whole day off.  I need , have to start a few wreaths for some friends.  Since school is about to start in a few weeks, I should get on it fast.  I have a few teacher friends and a nice wreath for their classroom door would be so nice, as a surprise of course.  So please don't tell them, it will be our little secret.  I'll insert some pics here along with the simple instructions.

Hey friends, now its crunch time.  I have to complete the decoration for a friend's baby shower next weekend.  But I'll get it done.  They are having a girl and no particular theme, just pastel colors.  So I decided to buy the wood letters for the word "BABY C", since baby's name starts with the letter C, paint theme, and glue on a wood base, that my hubby cut for me.  I think it turned out so cute. I just picked up the wood letters at Michaels or at local craft store will do, paint from Walmart, the acrylic kind will do and a bit of creativity.  Once all dry, I use my hot glue gun to glue them to the painted wood and wallah....1 project down.
