Hey friends, what a great Saturday!! Today we took kids back to school shopping and actually had a great time.  My teenage daughter knew what she wanted and her size and my son is easy going so he okay with whatever his dad picks so all in all it was a great shopping trip. And we got some great deals too.  Must needed family time. Oh and I had ordered some dies from Aliexpress and they came today, so yaaaaaah me. I'm super excited to use them.
Good day friends, how's it been going?  Well 2 days down and 3 to go for the week. I've been thinking of a few new projects that I'll share with ya coming soon.  So let's face it, its never not a time that I'm thinking of a new ideas to make and design.  I'm just so darn craft minded!!  My daughter also makes a lot of different crafts also and we know who she gets that from.  Well I'm I have to run to the store AGAIN this late but a mom's work is never done.  Till next time friends!! Hello friends, well we made it through another Monday!! Whoaaaaa!!!!  If your Monday's are typically like mines, then ya know what I mean.  Well, I have finally finished one project for my friends housewarming gift, her wreath.....And it turned out so pretty and so her style. And it didn't take long to make but with all my extra "hats" I wear, well you know. Check out the details below. So I didn't measure that length, I just eyeballed it and started out by laying the design side face down and criss crossing the burlap to make a bow shape.  Then again without measuring just eyeballing it I cut a small piece of burlap to make a smaller bow in front and folded each end to come together in the middle. Layed the smaller one on top of larger one. Scrunch the middle and tie with a pipe cleaner or wire.  Cut a smaller piece and cut in half long ways and hot glue the edges into the middle and wrap around middle part of bow to cover pipe cleaner, then hot glue the
Good evening friends, Hope everyone had a great day today!  I had my normal at work wrecking my brain and patience too much, it was a bit exhausting, but any whoot.  I want to make a new wreath for my front door, but not sure what theme to make.  I have a lot of handmade wreaths but I'm always wanting to make more and more.  I guess since the kids school starts back in a few weeks, I could make a "back to school" wreath of some sort.  What do you think? And what types of wreaths do you all like?

morning thoughts

Good morning friends, Today started off as normal, well at least normal for me.  I get up and ready to go to work (sighs) put in my 8 hours and hopefully they will not ask me to stay for overtime.  And after working and wrecking my brain all day, I can come home and "relax" and get my craft on.  I'm always thinking about what needs to done and what has to be done. I get a lot of request to help out decorating this or that and I do not mind at all because my friends and family know that I love to do it.  So now on the this glass of lemonade and off to my craft room.
Good afternoon friends, Today was a relaxing day, no work (yaaaahhh).  I actually had a doctors appointment earlier and so I took the whole day off.  I need , have to start a few wreaths for some friends.  Since school is about to start in a few weeks, I should get on it fast.  I have a few teacher friends and a nice wreath for their classroom door would be so nice, as a surprise of course.  So please don't tell them, it will be our little secret.  I'll insert some pics here along with the simple instructions.

Hey friends, now its crunch time.  I have to complete the decoration for a friend's baby shower next weekend.  But I'll get it done.  They are having a girl and no particular theme, just pastel colors.  So I decided to buy the wood letters for the word "BABY C", since baby's name starts with the letter C, paint theme, and glue on a wood base, that my hubby cut for me.  I think it turned out so cute. I just picked up the wood letters at Michaels or at local craft store will do, paint from Walmart, the acrylic kind will do and a bit of creativity.  Once all dry, I use my hot glue gun to glue them to the painted wood and wallah....1 project down.
